I really don't want people to know about having a Minnesota lake in Mexico because I want it all to myself. If I found a lot for sale I would have paid cash and retired immediately. I woke up in January and thought I was in Detroit Lakes in June.
Awesome place to stay! The staff was incredible, the beds were super comfy and the food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.
This resort is absolutely gorgeous! The swimming pool is a type of infinity pool that uses actual lagoon water from the volcano. The gardens are breathtaking. The cabañas are ok, the one I saw was very nice but the largest bed was a double. It was a three bedroom that slept 6. I was told that they do have others with larger beds though. Overall very very gorgeous location, can't beat the view!
If you ever want to treat yourself, this is the place to do it. Phenomenal resort and restaurant. Highly recommended
This place was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very attentive and polite. Loved the greenery, the pool,the cabin ,the room service and the complimentary breakfast. I highly recommend this resort to relax and enjoy. Only one thing I didn't like ,I'm an early bird and love to wake up and have coffee, No coffee anywhere until 8a.m .
Beautiful place to visit, great prices, the lagoon is clean to swim in and restaurants around lagoon. Clear fresh water they're courtesy mountain bikes and a place to hike.
A well maintained picturesque place overlooking the lake. I didnt get the opportunity to stay but spent a good 30 mins exploring the property. Definitely on my 'must stay' list!
This is a hidden gem in Mexico. The resort is very well organized, rooms are extremely clean, friendly staff. The restaurant is supported by a chef rather than a cook. Wonderful food. The 10 minute drive into the resort is on a rough road as this summer there have been heavy rains and the dirt roads have not been repaired. The cabins are in a park like setting beautiful trees and grass that lead down to a zero edge swimming pool that sits high looking over the lake. If you ever get the chance be sure and stay there.
